Micronstat: Digital Coating Thickness Gauge

Micronstat is an electronic digital gauge for accurate measurement of coating thickness. It can measure thickness as fine as 1 micron, eliminating the need for guess work, erroneous reading and approximation in coating thickness measurement.

Micronstat can help to maintain consistent quality of coatings in the fields of anti-corrosion, electroplating, painting of engineering products, automobiles, aircraft manufacture, and chemical industry and so on.

Micronstat measures following coatings on metallic substrates:

  • Paint, varnish, lacquer, oxide, nitrite phosphate, enamel, plastic, fibre glass, rubber glass etc.
  • Decorative and protective coatings
  • Electroplating on steel (except nickel)
  • Anodizing, paints etc. on Aluminium
  • Plastic, Polyester films, Copper, Aluminium, foil thickness measurement by providing a temporary base like a plate or a roller
